Berlin, 5. Januar 2009. The contemporary history and life log portal annoknips.com is one of the first social communities to integrate Google StreetView in its own application.

annoknips.com is now additionally offering an interactive 3D all-round view of all addresses captured by Google StreetView. This means that you can now take a virtual walk through all places and streets you have lived in. Extensions to StreetView are automatically incorporated in annoknips.com straight away and linked to existing life logs.

In the past, data protection advocates fuelled such a heated debate against Google Streetview that internet users got the impression that showing the front of a house, a street or a place on the internet was just as secretive and worthy of protection as the Holy Grail!

The contemporary history portal annoknips.com proves that many internet users have a different view of this as users have uploaded more than 25000 pictures since the site was launched in August 2008 - more than a quarter of them as "public photos".
